Tasks and functions of the RCC Commission on Regulation of Frequency Spectrum Use and EMC of Radioelectronic Facilities (RCC EMC Commission)
- Coordination of the RCC CAs interaction in the area of regulation of frequency use, effective frequency spectrum use and ensuring EMC of radioelectronic facilities;
- Coordination of the RCC CAs activities on protecting interests of radio services of sovereign states in international organizations.
- Rendering assistance to the RCC CAs in solving questions of effective spectrum use and ensuring electromagnetic compatibility of radioelectronic facilities;
- Rendering assistance to the RCC CAs in the matters of frequency coordination in the border areas;
- Preparation of proposals for unification of the automated spectrum management systems;
- Coordination of frequency assignments plans and positions of the Earth artificial satellites on geostationary orbit for the satellite systems of states whose communications administrations are the RCC members;
- Preparation of recommendations on improvement the efficiency of spectrum use and EMC of radioelectronic facilities;
- Development of recommendations on technical norms for the EMC parameters and industrial interference limits and methods of their measurement;
- Formation of the list of telecommunication R&D works jointly financed by the RCC CAs, organisation of consideration of these works and acceptance of their results;
- Organisation of sharing the RCC CAs' experience in regulation of frequency spectrum use and EMC of radioelectronic facilities;
- Provision of information to the RCC CAs on frequency spectrum use and EMC of radioelectronic facilities.
