Tasks and functions of the RCC Commission for International Cooperation Coordination
- Drafting agreements and legal documents that regulate RCC activities in the international cooperation area;
- Coordination of the CAs interaction while preparing joint contributions, shaping national positions as well as protecting common interests at the international fora held by ITU, UPU and other international organizations;
- Ensuring coordination of activities of the Coordination Council participants in working out concerted positions at the international fora.
- Preparation of proposals for the RCC CAs interaction when implementing various international projects on development of postal communication and telecommunications organized by ITU, UPU, UNDP, EU and major foreign companies;
- Preparation of the subjects, materials and coordination of plans of seminars, symposia and conferences held by various international organisations, foreign communications administrations and firms for the RCC CAs;
- Elaboration of coordinated proposals for the main aspects of the RCC international cooperation with other international and regional organisations, foreign communications administrations, national operators and major communications equipment manufacturers;
- Drafting agreements on international cooperation in communications with foreign partners on the basis of mutual interests;
- Preparation of proposals and recommendations with a view to drawing new RCC participants;
- Exchange of information among the RCC CAs on the matters of international cooperation with international and regional organisations, foreign communications administrations, national operators, major firms.
